Share App is currently under development and is set to revolutionize how private communities interact and collaborate. Stewardship Trust holds significant value on its own, but when Share Trust is integrated, they will complete each other. Early adopters of Stewardship Trust will seamlessly gain access to Share App once it is launched.
Share Trust is a Private Trust that is the Grantor for Stewardship Trust. Stewardship Trust holds legal title and stewardship responsibility over all funds and properties granted to it. Share Trust, on the other hand, holds all equitable title (receiving 100% of the financial benefit) of Stewardship Trust assets through LND Coin.
Share Trust utilizes a decentralized ledger system called Share App (Share) to facilitate the equitable decentralized sharing of the Private Trust’s resources for the benefit of its members. There are no commercial transactions taking place. These are simply Private Trust Credits that ensure equitable sharing among Share members.
Share is designed to operate in equity inside the Private Trust. If you have the ability to borrow 100,000 Share Credits from the community because you have granted 100,000 USD to the Trust, it will show as 0. If you borrow 10 Share Credits out of the community, it will show as -10 and not +99,990. The intention is not to borrow from the community just because “you can”, but rather to give to the community first and then receive from the community after. It follows more of a “pay it forward” mentality of charity instead of a mentality of mistrust and debt.
Share is revolutionary because it allows you to keep 100% of your Appreciating Assets (LND Coin) value growth, while still keeping 100% of the Depreciating Assets (Share Credits pegged to USD) liquidity, which incentivizes sharing and collaboration within the Private Trust Community.
Stewardship Trust is a Revocable Private Trust that allows its Grantors (Share Trust Members) to withdraw their funds from Stewardship Trust/Share Trust on the first of every month. You can only withdraw the amount you have in Share Credits. The rest will have to stay in Stewardship Trust, gaining value until you give back to the Share Community at least as much as you have received. Even if you have an excess of Share Credits, you cannot withdraw more LND Coin Value than what you have put in.
For example, if you put in $1,000 USD and that LND Coin is now worth $3,000 USD, and you have 3,500 Share Credits (because you have shared 500 Share Credits of value to the Share Trust Community), you can only withdraw the new value of your original grant, which is now $3,000 USD. The last 500 Share Credits can only be used in Share Trust Community. Once you withdraw your grant, you are back to operating in commerce again. The $3,000 withdrawn from the Trust represents an increase of $2,000 from your original $1,000, so it will be taxed accordingly.
